I lovvved listening to this (especially the Urdu parts) in your voice! Urdu se aap ki dosti hamesha barkaraar rahe! (All the Urdu I know is from the movies 🤷🏾♂️)
Loved reading this! And keep writing in all the languages you can. All our languages, including Urdu, speak to each other beautifully and to us when we let them.
Loved this sooooo much Sanobar - your words and the page from your notebook! Fully feeling the playfulness and love of Ochre Sky too ❤️❤️ though I couldn't be in this workshop, i feel like my dosti with Urdu has started a little from here. Thank you for that!
Maza aa gaya, Doel. I've been smiling since morning lol waise they're doing a workshop in October too and from the looks of it, I think they'll do plenty more :) Thank you for always reading me with so much love :)
Woah! Finally got a chance to listen to this. Bohot khoob! So poetic and beautifully put together. Loved it, Sanobar. I'm too terrified to sign up but I keep gazing at the poster for the October sessions and think 'maybe'...
Now that you mention it, I'm confused if it was Jamshedpur ki shaam ya Mirzapur ki shaam lol but, my mamu was in police Savvy and at one point was posted in Jamshedpur. He chose to settle there with his family :) I'd visited them in Jamshedpur before my graduation and totally loved the place!
This is so beautiful! As an Indian based in the UAE I can tell you I've always been fascinated by Indo-Pak stories. Aap soch nahin skti aap k is note ki kya ehmeeyat hai mere liye! Jitna shukr ada karun kam hai. Waise, aap k mulk se logon ne humare saath Ochre Sky Stories mein saath likha hai. Covid ka yahi toh ek faeda hua hai ki hum zoom pr duniya bhar se mulaqaat kr sktey hain. Agar aap interested hon toh main October mein phir inke saath ek session karun. Barey shauq se :)) No pressure! Just wanted to share a beautiful idea ❤️ Thank you so much for the kindest note ever!
They'll offer an alternative. I'm already attending their current workshop and would attend Oct one only to write with you :) Try emailing them wrna phir kabhi :) I've attended quite a few workshops but these guys remain one of the most loved ones ❤️

I missed you guys so much, Karthik! And thank you for the compliment :))

Thank you, Ronita! I'm learning to allow myself to enjoy writing in whatever medium I can and in as many mediums I can!

Wow! Absolutely loved reading this while listening to you read it aloud. And that last line 🥲
Thank you, Ila! Us last line ko mujhe sticker banana hai :p
Absolutely brilliant Sanobar! I loved the narration. Your voice has great character. Looking forward to more such writings / narrations in urdu :)
Haiii that’s so encouraging! Thank you :))
