‘Poems that pray softly’ was a poetry writing workshop led by the sparkly wizard, Raju Tai and hosted by Femme Fridays. I crafted this piece in the same workshop but was so nervous about taking ownership of this piece that I had to confirm with my teacher, Raju T, if this really could be called a poem. Call it whatever you want, I LOVE it and I cannot believe I wrote it!

I’ve tweaked it since and tried finding this ‘poem’ a home from December 2023, since it was conceived. However, after being rejected about thrice already, I truly believe it was always meant to stay close to me. Right Here.

Thank you, Raju Tai I wanted to surprise you by having it published somewhere, but I really can’t wait to let it out into the world!
