Deepika, maza hi aa gaya :) This year has been everything I'd never ever imagined in my wildest of dreams. These kids have helped me not only to stay afloat but also really made the journey worthwhile in every sense of the word. I feel sooo lucky! I missed writing but I just couldn't do it all. Happy to be back and enjoying catching up with Substack, too :)
I love how the essay starts innocently and then turns to girls and teachers practising voice, and agency. You are a masterful writer and surely a star teacher.
